Polynucleotides

Polynucleotide injectables purified, filtered and sterilised fractions of DNA, which are capable of rejuvenating the skin. Mainly derived from salmon DNA, polynucleotides are designed to stimulate fibroblasts, promoting tissue repair, enhancing cell turnover, increasing elasticity, and stimulating collagen production.

This regenerative treatment revitalises the skin on a deeper level and encourages the skin to repair itself and promote various immediate and long-term skin-boosting benefits.

Which areas can be treated?

Polynucleotide injections effectively treat various facial areas like cheeks, forehead, around the eyes, and lips, diminishing fine lines and enhancing skin quality.
Additionally, they aid in body treatments, targeting areas like the neck, décolletage and hands, rejuvenating skin and promoting collagen production for a smoother appearance.

Under-Eyes

The thin skin around the eyes tends to lose collagen (the protein responsible for keeping skin firm) and elasticity much quicker than other areas. Fortunately, due to its inflammatory properties, polynucleotides are fantastic for this area, treating concerns such as: Dark circles, fine lines and wrinkles, puffiness and textured skin

What Are
Polynucleotides?

Polynucleotide injectables are a form of regenerative medicine that utilises DNA fragments to stimulate tissue repair and regeneration. Derived from salmon DNA, these injectables contain nucleotides that closely resemble human DNA, ensuring high compatibility with our skin cells. When injected into targeted areas, polynucleotide injectables promote collagen synthesis, enhance cell proliferation, and improve overall skin texture.

Injecting polynucleotides creates an optimal environment for fibroblast growth, aiding in tissue repair and regeneration. When used as an injectable aesthetic treatment, they nourish your cells and, by increasing their presence in your body, enhance the effectiveness of existing cells.

  • Am I Suitable?
Before all treatments, you will require a consultation to assess your individual needs and requirements and advise on your suitability for anti-wrinkle injections.
  • How long do Anti-Wrinkle Treatments last?
Anti-wrinkle injections only have a temporary effect. The length of efficacy is determined by the dosage given and the muscle mass injected. Anti-wrinkle injections can last for as long as 3-4 months on average.
  • Is it safe?
Anti-wrinkle injections are considered extremely safe when administered by a medical practitioner. We will discuss the risks and benefits with you at consultation and again prior to treatment.
  • Aftercare for Anti-Wrinkle Treatments
After your treatment, please remain upright for 4-6 hours (lying in a reclined position is acceptable, but avoid lying flat). Avoid wearing a headband or hat with a band across your forehead if you had injections between the brows or in the forehead. Refrain from intense exercise that significantly increases your heart rate (running, swimming, bicycling, etc.) for 24 hours after your injections. Walking or other low-impact exercises are fine. Do not massage or manipulate the injected areas for 24 hours. Washing your face and applying makeup is permissible. Avoid using NSAIDs such as Ibuprofen, Aspirin, fish oil supplements, or Vitamin E for 24 hours after your treatment. If you notice any bruising, apply ice to the area for 15 minutes every hour to reduce it. The most common side effect is a headache. If it bothers you, you can use Paracetamol according to the package instructions. If you are a chronic headache sufferer with prescription medication, you may take it as prescribed by your doctor. They will gradually take effect over 7-10 days, with optimal results seen at 2 weeks.
